Join a dedicated healthcare team providing compassionate clinical support in a busy practice setting within the Midwest region. This role focuses on assisting with patient care management and ensuring smooth healthcare delivery throughout each patient visit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk clients.
• Provide reassurance, accurate education, and clear instructions to patients, responding promptly to telephone triage.
• Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints, while maintaining accurate and updated medical records.
• Communicate abnormal patient findings to physicians and document accordingly.
• Assist physicians with testing, treatments, minor surgeries, and physical exams, including applying splints, dressings, and managing sample medications.
• Coordinate patient testing, referrals, and follow-up on test results, ensuring proper consents are obtained for invasive procedures and immunizations.
• Perform laboratory tests and maintain lab logs as prescribed.
• Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Alternatively, a minimum of five years of relevant clinical experience in a medical practice.

This full-time position operates primarily during the first shift, offering a supportive environment to grow your clinical skills while making a meaningful impact on patient care in a regional healthcare setting.
