Job Category Operations, Underwriting Compensation Overview The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards. Travelers is looking for an Associate Operations Account Specialist (AOAS) to learn and grow in a supportive environment. You will work towards achieving business goals and objectives while receiving comprehensive mentorship and training to help you develop your skills and reach your full potential. What Will You Do? Successfully complete applicable market new hire training and certification. Learn to manage multi-state, multi-line accounts throughout their lifecycle, including rating/pricing, quoting, issuing policies, and handling related account activities. Build and maintain strong working relationships with teammates, business partners and agents. Learn standardized workflows and state compliance guidelines to understand business processes. Analyze multiple sources of information to make sound decisions. Develop critical thinking and decision‑making skills to enhance business partner and customer confidence. Execute service level commitments and deliver quality products in a timely manner. Perform other duties as assigned. What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have? Proficient in standard business software, such as Microsoft Office or equivalent. Analytical thinking and judgment to analyze and compare information. Time and desk management skills to organize and manage multiple priorities. Effective verbal, written, and listening communication skills. Ability to deliver service excellence to internal and external partners to ensure a positive experience. Collaboration skills to work effectively in team situations. What is a Must Have? High School Diploma or GED. Working knowledge of standard business software, such as Microsoft Office or equivalent. What Is in It for You?
