Opening: November 2026 We are seeking a talented and creative Sous Chef / Chef de Cuisine to join the opening team of an exciting new elevated barbecue concept in Fairhope, Alabama. This is an opportunity for a hands on culinary leader to help shape a brand new kitchen from the ground up. The ideal candidate has a strong background in barbecue and smoked meats, along with experience in whole animal fabrication, butchery, seafood, and scratch cooking. We are looking for someone who understands the fundamentals of great barbecue while bringing creativity and a refined culinary perspective to the menu. Key Responsibilities:

- Work closely with the owner to execute a high quality, elevated barbecue menu
- Lead daily kitchen operations while maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation
- Prepare and oversee smoking, roasting, grilling, and other cooking techniques with a focus on meat and barbecue
- Perform whole animal fabrication and butchery, including breaking down and portioning proteins
- Demonstrate strong seafood fabrication and preparation skills
- Contribute creative ideas for menu development, specials, sides, sauces, and seasonal offerings
- Maintain exceptional standards for food quality, flavor, presentation, and portion control
- Train, mentor, and develop culinary team members
- Manage prep, production, inventory, ordering, and kitchen organization
- Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
- Help establish kitchen systems, recipes, prep procedures, and operational standards during the opening process
