This contract opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) ready to collaborate with an experienced supervising SLP. You’ll provide direct therapy to K-5 students, contribute to assessments, and be part of a mission-driven special education environment.

This position begins August 17 and extends through May 30, 2025, working 37.5 hours per week based at a welcoming elementary school. The district values your expertise and now has supervision in place, making it the perfect time for an SLPA to make a real difference.

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication or a related field
• Current licensure or eligibility as an SLPA
• Experience providing speech therapy services to pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLP, teachers, and caregivers
• Commitment to fostering student success in line with IEP goals
• Flexibility for itinerant assignments and paid travel as needed

Your responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services under SLP supervision, aligning with student IEPs
• Support with conducting speech/language assessments and progress monitoring
• Maintain accurate records and assist with reporting/documentation using the school’s IEP system (training provided)
• Participate in paid team meetings and any required indirect/admin hours within the contract timeframe
• Contribute to a positive, student-focused atmosphere
