Title Specialist

Title SpecialistThey are responsible for perfecting automotive titles in a timely manner in the correct lending partner name. The Title Specialist will work collaboratively with other Location Services production teams to ensure that title processing is done accurately, efficiently, and completed within established guidelines. We are looking for someone who has strong communication skills, enjoys a goal driven & fast-paced environment, is enthusiastic to multitask and perform multiple departmental functions, and is poised and professional at all times. This position is in office, Monday through Friday - Indianapolis, IN.Qualifications and Required SkillsAbility to work in a fast pace environment with high attention to detailFast learner that can comprehend, retain, and implement required policies and proceduresDetail orientated with excellent time management skillsStrong critical thinking skills that will be used to generate resolutions for escalated accountsStrong verbal and written communication skills, and effective listening skillsStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to de-escalate situations when a customer is upsetProficient in MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious experience working with automobile loan and/or titles processing preferred but not requiredExperience with quality assurance preferred but not requiredKnowledge of banking, financial services, dealership or real estate processing preferred but not requiredAbility to work overtime hours and Saturdays, as neededEssential FunctionsAccurate and efficient perfection of automotive titles for lending partnersVerify and audit loan and title documents for accuracyProvide consistent and timely feedback to managementEffective management of the Title Check QueueProvide outstanding customer service and meet service level agreementsHandle customer outbound and inbound calls, including responding to voicemails, emails and text messages to obtain missing documentation; ability to de-escalate situations when necessaryResponsible for learning and knowing state specific title laws & requirements for perfecting liensAbility to handle information professionally and confidentiallyHelp with updating internal processes to align with state titling and form/requirement changesDocument the system of record per applicable policy/procedureMonitor accounts for "red flags" or potential fraudOther duties as assignedEducation and ExperienceAssociates Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical schoolBachelor's degree or higher, in business related field a plusDealership experience required (2+ years)Titles experience required (2+ years)BenefitsCompetitive compensation packageFull suite of medical benefits, including dental, vision, 401k, pet insurance and more!PTO and holidaysPosition Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position.
