Our ICUs provide care for a broad spectrum of critically ill patients, including medical, surgical, trauma, neurological, and cardiovascular populations. • Medical ICU (MICU) – 32 beds: Complex medical critical care patients
• Surgical ICU (SICU) – 24 beds: Post-operative and surgical specialties
• Trauma ICU (TICU) – 20 beds: High-acuity trauma patients
• Neuro ICU – 20 beds: Neurological and neurosurgical care
• Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) – 24 beds: Advanced cardiac and ECMO care

Are you an experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse looking to take your career to the next level? The George Washington University Hospital is seeking skilled and adaptable ICU nurses to join our dynamic critical care team across multiple specialties. Responsibilities

Patient Care: Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across a range of critical care populations.

Monitoring: Utilize advanced technology to monitor and manage critically ill patients.

Collaboration: Work within interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Critical Thinking: Apply strong clinical judgment in complex, fast-paced situations.

Advocacy: Support patients and families throughout the ICU experience.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.

Education: Provide education on conditions, treatments, and recovery.

Quality Improvement: Participate in initiatives to enhance ICU care delivery.

• BSN required or currently enrolled
• DC RN license or eligibility
• 2 years full-time (or 4 years part-time) ICU experience
• BLS and ACLS required
