You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service to tenants and visitors. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.18 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the property by observing visitor, contractor, and delivery activity; verify credentials and direct individuals in accordance with site requirements. Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions in clear written reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
