DescriptionThis is 100% Onsite Location: Mount Sinai Hospital -1468 Madison AveWe are seeking a Moves, Adds, and Changes (MAC) Cable Infrastructure Coordinator and Project Manager, to join our dynamic team on-site three days / remote two days a week at Mount Sinai Health System. The candidate should have experience working with Information Technology Ticketing Systems and have a base knowledge of Cable Infrastructure, Network and Telecommunication Services. This position will play a crucial role in implementation, and support our low voltage cable infrastructure environment, ensuring the stability, reliability, and performance of this critical infrastructure which supports patient care, research and administration for the entire health system.ResponsibilitiesCable Moves, Adds, and Changes (MAC)Coordinate Service NOW Incident and Request Tickets (Mount Sinai end users)Coordinate Podio Incident and Request Tickets (Mount Sinai Cable Contractors)Do walkthroughs with End user to create Scope of WorkInterface with Cable Contractor and oversee installation and completion of the ticket work.Provide any Patient Control Risk Assessment, PCRA, Infection Control Risk Assessment ICRA and Life Safety permits needed for ticketsParts Inventory and TrackingCoordinate Cable Material orders and deliveries with Material vendors Inventory and track material orders and deliveriesTrack Vendor and contractor cover spending using Excel Design/DocumentationMarkup PDF drawings using REVU Bluebeam showing Cable locations, pathways, and Fire wall penetrationsAs build existing Bluebeam and Visio drawingsCreate/as build Excel Cable Run listsProject ManagementOversee small to medium projects within the Health SystemInterface with Facilities PM’s, Architects, and Engineers on Cable Infrastructure DesignsDo walkthroughs with End user to create scope of work, SOWsCoordinate work with Cable Contractors and the Network and Telecommunication teams.Coordinate work with Cable Contractors and the Network and Telecommunication teams.Provide oversight of onsite cable contractors and address field conditions as they ariseClose out projects promptly and ensure as-built drawings are updated and budgets are closed outFollow internal processes for Infectious Control, Life, Fire Safety, etc.QualificationsBachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.Seven years of experience in all phases of telecommunications in all phases of telecommunications and network management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Strongly Preferred: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Enterprise Cable Infrastructure or End User Computing GroupWorking knowledge of cable infrastructure standards, ANSI/TIA/EIA and 802.x standardsWorking knowledge of Microsoft OfficeExcellent collaboration, organizational, verbal and writing skillsWorking knowledge of ServiceNow, Podio, Microsoft Visio, and Revu BluebeamEmployer DescriptionStrength through Unity and InclusionThe Mount Sinai Health System is committed to fostering an environment where everyone can contribute to excellence. The salary range for the role is $82000 - $123000 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
