Previous experience in Mortgage with Consumer Direct experience is highly desired Active NMLS is required This opportunity provides a base salary + bonus based on production Follow us on LinkedIn at and view all of our openings at Overview: Pezian Search Group is working with a Client that is seeking a customer service focused and detail oriented individual to join their Lending Team as a Consumer Direct (Internet) Loan Officer. The ideal candidate is an individual that has a strong desire to be successful within the Mortgage industry, can represent the brand, sell / close loans, build relationships, provide a great customer experience and has the desire to make a difference within the organization with an exceptional ability to grasp new concepts and learn while providing excellent service is critical for this position. Duties / Responsibilities: Originate / close Mortgage loans that meet established guidelines, and are profitable to the organization Keep current on real estate trends and laws and rules for every state the Clients serves, and maintain a strong knowledge of all loan types including secondary market mortgage Be proficient in use pricing engine and lead management system, meet/exceed established production goals, and maintain a high level of customer service as reflected in online reviews Effectively input loan applications to the origination system and run DU/LP Perform loan processing as necessary which may include ordering title work, credit report, flood, payoffs and lien releases/discharges Provide constructive feedback on the products and pricing demanded in the real estate market Meet established standards and guidelines with regard to compliance, job knowledge, quality, attendance, efficiency, initiative, customer service and overall performance Maintain customer confidence by providing ongoing quality service and keeping all files and information confidential Develop personal marketing programs / networking to help build and increase business Assist in fostering and maintaining a healthy team environment with a can-do attitude, assisting other team members as needed 3+ years of Mortgage industry experience, with previous experience in Loan Operations / Loan Officer or equivalent roles strongly preferred Knowledge of secondary market mortgage guidelines and underwriting requirements Self-starter, motivated, and capable of maintaining a positive relationship with realtors, and co-workers, with a strong sales aptitude Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal, written, and presentation) skills with a professional demeanor to both internal and external Customers/Clients Experience with Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and knowledge of Mortgage-based Software packages Strong attention to detail If you or someone you may know is interested in this opportunity, please apply directly through this posting and a member of our team will reach out to you to discuss further.
