Location: Raleigh, NC
Duration: 12 Months with possible extension
Job Description:
The Client is seeking a skilled Application Systems Python Developer to design, develop, and support data pipelines, dashboards, integrations, and migration processes across enterprise systems within the Client. This Role plays a key part in moving data between legacy and modern platforms, ensuring data quality, and enabling analytics and automation through Python and Power BI.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data migration scripts, ETL pipelines, and automation workflows using Python
- Design, build, and optimize data models for reporting and analytics
- Create interactive dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions using Power BI
- Perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading between databases, APIs, and enterprise systems
- Optimize data processes for speed, reliability, and scalability
- Work with SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects to support migration and reporting
- Integrate data from multiple sources, including cloud apps, on premises systems, and flat files
- Collaborate with business teams to define reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions
- Analyze data quality issues, reconcile datasets, and implement best practices for data integrity
- Implement automation for recurring data tasks and reporting workflows
- Maintain documentation for data processes, source mappings, and migration steps
- Participate in architecture, design, and planning sessions for data modernization projects
