Cooley LLP has an opportunity available to work with the Employment and Labor practice group in our San Diego Los Angeles or Santa Monica offices. Our ideal candidate will have two to five years of broad experience and sophistication in employment law. Specifically we are looking for candidates with experience in case development legal research and writing all aspects of discovery witness interviews or investigations and brief writing. Candidates should also have a strong set of employment counseling skills with experience and developing expertise in such things as advising clients on employment policies and practices statutory and regulatory compliance and employment and separation agreements. Qualified candidates should have strong academic credentials exceptional communication and legal writing skills a high level of motivation and initiative willingness to help train and mentor junior associates and a strong work ethic. Current admittance to the California bar required. EOE.

The expected annual pay range for this position is $235000-$365000. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
