Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing mental health therapists to provide care from their own home environment while still being an integral part of our dedicated team. Our office operates under a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate client needs. You will engage with colleagues and supervisors through virtual meetings and consultations, fostering collaboration and professional development.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify patient needs and formulate personalized treatment plans, addressing individual, couple, and family dynamics.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused techniques tailored to the specific issues faced by each patient.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops, providing a safe space for patients to share experiences and learn coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care and coordinate initiatives for better outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention services, effectively managing acute situations and offering critical support during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients on their mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards.

• Take an active role in ongoing training and professional development opportunities, attending workshops, seminars, and case consultations.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in mental health therapy to continuously improve patient care.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Georgia.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and the ability to utilize evidence-based treatment modalities effectively.

• Experience in conducting thorough mental health assessments and developing personalized treatment strategies.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.

• A collaborative spirit, with a strong ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in a relevant field.
