Solution Architect

Summary

Client is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to partner with customers and internal stakeholders to design, build, and implement scalable cloud-based solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise, customer engagement skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into secure, reliable, and cost-effective architectures leveraging AWS services. Key Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers, helping them design and optimize cloud solutions on AWS.
Gather business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable architecture designs.
Lead architecture discussions, technical workshops, and solution reviews with customers and internal teams.
Design high-availability, fault-tolerant, and secure cloud environments.
Provide guidance on cloud migration, modernization, application development, and infrastructure optimization.
Create architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and implementation roadmaps.
Work closely with development, operations, security, and product teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
Identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Support proof-of-concepts (POCs), technical demonstrations, and customer presentations.
Stay current with AWS services, cloud technologies, and industry best practices.

Required Skills

Strong experience designing and implementing cloud solutions on AWS.
Deep understanding of cloud architecture principles and distributed systems.
Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and API Gateway.
Knowledge of networking, security, identity management, and disaster recovery concepts.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work directly with customers and present technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Preferred Qualifications

AWS Solutions Architect Certification (Associate or Professional).
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of serverless architectures and microservices.
Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud transformation initiatives.
Background working within consulting or customer-facing environments.
Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks.

Nice to Have

Experience with AI/ML, Data Analytics, or Generative AI solutions on AWS.
Multi-cloud experience (Azure or GCP).
Experience leading architecture teams or mentoring engineers.
