As a Senior Pharmacy Care Technician , you will perform live telephonic outreach to UHC Medicare members and their physicians/pharmacies to improve health quality outcomes (i.e., medication adherence, appropriate drug utilization). This is a office based-remote role. You will be required to work onsite 1 day per month and work remotely (work from home) all other days of the month. Office Location: Schaumburg, IL - 1600 McConnor Parkway, Schaumburg, IL 60173 Training: 100% onsite for initial 2-3 weeks of starting employment If you reside in Schaumburg, IL , you will enjoy the flexibility of an office based-remote role as you take on some tough challenges. This position follows a office based-remote schedule with 1 in-office day per month. Primary Responsibilities Perform telephonic customer outreach to improve health quality outcomes in collaboration with Clinical Pharmacists Provide additional telephonic engagement with providers and pharmacies Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements, triaging to a Clinical Pharmacist when appropriate Outbound calls to CAHPs detractors and MedAdhmembers to improve member experience and reduce barriers to adherence drugs Document and track member engagement You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications High School Diploma/GED Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in your state of residence National Pharmacy Technician Certification 3+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience Beginner level of proficiency with navigating Microsoft Office and a Windows-based environment Reside within commutable distance to Schaumburg, IL office location Ability to work Monday - Friday, 8-hour shift between the hours of 8am - 5pm Preferred Qualifications Retail and/or mail order pharmacy experience Experience with Part D claims adjudication All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.
