CT Technologist - Full Time Nights

Role: Diagnostic CT Technologist responsible for performing CT imaging procedures following established protocols. Responsibilities: Verify patient identity, review medical records, interview patients to gather medical history, explain procedures and potential risks, set up imaging equipment, acquire and review images, and communicate findings to radiologists. Recognize and respond to medical emergencies, provide post-care instructions, and participate in quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and satisfaction. Educate residents, students, and new staff on imaging techniques and protocols. Perform duties of a Radiologic Technologist as needed and may be required to take call or standby shifts. Qualifications & Skills Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology (R) or Computed Tomography (CT) preferred. Completion of American Heart Association (AHA) BLS training. At least one year of radiology technologist experience or advanced CT certification. Strong analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to operate complex equipment and communicate effectively with diverse patients and staff. Physical stamina for patient handling and ability to operate imaging equipment with manual dexterity and visual acuity. Knowledge of accreditation standards and ability to work effectively in a complex environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
