Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy to expand our agency footprint throughout the Yorktown region.

Recruit, onboard, and train a diverse group of independent insurance agents to ensure top-tier production and compliance.

Provide ongoing mentorship to agents, helping them refine their sales techniques and client service standards.

Foster a collaborative culture where agents feel supported, valued, and encouraged to reach their professional potential.

Analyze sales metrics and regional trends to identify new business opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.

Maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers to ensure our agents have access to the most competitive products for their clients.

Represent The Atlantic District at industry events and community functions to build brand awareness and professional credibility.

Requirements

Active Virginia Life and Health Insurance License.

Demonstrated success in building and managing high-performing insurance distribution networks.

Deep knowledge of life, health, and annuity product lines.

Strong track record of recruiting, mentoring, and retaining independent agents.

Solid understanding of regional market dynamics in Virginia.

Excellent public speaking and interpersonal skills for lead generation and agency development.

Strong proficiency in agency management software and digital sales platforms.
