Trauma ICU Registered Nurse - Level I Trauma

This is a 13-week contract position.

Days, 3x12 hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00)

We are seeking a skilled Trauma ICU Registered Nurse for a Level I Trauma unit. The selected candidate will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients. The Trauma ICU has a daily census of 14 patients and offers support from various specialized teams including IV, Physical Therapy, and Respiratory Services.

Responsibilities:

• Manage advanced care for critically ill patients in the Trauma ICU.
• Utilize Epic charting for documentation and patient care.
• Provide patient care in compliance with established protocols and standards.
• Administer medications and implement treatment plans as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during their stay.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required; PALS and TNCC certifications are preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Trauma Level I or II experience is preferred.
• Travel experience is preferred.
• State or Compact RN license must be in hand at time of application.
