Traveling Physical Therapist

We are currently looking for a Nationwide Traveling Physical Therapist based out of Chicago, IL! This is a full‑time position for someone who wants to practice in a variety of Cranial Technologies locations across the United States. This position is in a pediatric clinical outpatient setting, working exclusively with infants. What does a clinician do at Cranial Technologies? As a clinician, you will treat infants to reshape head shapes with the DOC Band® and correct ear shapes with EarWell®. Pediatricians and parents look to our clinicians as experts in evaluation and treatment of plagiocephaly and related ear conditions. You will develop strong relationships with families throughout the treatment process. We hire from various backgrounds. PTs, OTs, Registered Nurses, and certified prosthetist‑orthotists have all been successful in this role because of their knowledge of symmetry, infant development, hands‑on patient care, and orthotic experience. A background in pediatrics is preferred but not required; we provide formal training and mentoring. Travel and Scheduling Travel to any state where we have a clinic (currently 32 states and growing). Typical schedule: travel late Monday, work Tuesday–Friday, fly home Friday evening; home weekends. Assignments are provided at least two weeks in advance. You will travel weekly, either to a local clinic or another state; preference for candidates close to a major airport. The company pays travel expenses and provides a per diem. Qualifications Licensed PT. 500 hours of basic orthotic fitting experience with off‑the‑shelf orthotic devices (e.g., splints, braces, maternity belts).
