We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.Job Description### **Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Oversee the entire payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payroll execution for all employees.* Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and tax regulations.* Process payroll-related changes, including new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, and benefit deductions.* Lead and manage the payroll team, providing training and support as needed.* Review and reconcile payroll reports to ensure accuracy in earnings, deductions, taxes, and benefits.* Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure proper employee classification and payroll funding.* Administer payroll tax filings and ensure compliance with IRS and state tax agencies.* Handle payroll audits, reporting, and year-end processing, including W-2 and 1099 preparation.* Manage relationships with third-party payroll providers and vendors.* Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve any payroll discrepancies promptly.### ### **Qualifications and Requirements*** **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.* **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of payroll management experience, preferably in a multi-state or large-scale organization.* **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in payroll systems (ADP, Workday, or similar), Microsoft Excel, and accounting software.* **Knowledge**: Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and wage & hour laws.* **Soft Skills**: Excellent attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.* **Certifications**: CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation is a plusQuirch Foods is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
