Registered Nurse – Hospice

Schedule

7 on/7 off schedule with shifts from Monday to Friday, 5 PM to 8 AM, and 24 hours from 8 AM on Saturday to 8 AM on Sunday on alternate weeks.

Assignment Details

Standard 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license.
• A minimum of one year of experience in hospice care, including on-call and admissions experience.
• Experience using an electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document patient and family needs, developing individualized care plans.
• Identify and manage pain effectively through tailored interventions.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to update and revise care plans.
• Provide education to patients and families on interventions and medications.
• Ensure accurate and compliant electronic medical records.
• Maintain the dignity and comfort of patients receiving end-of-life care.
• Support unique spiritual and cultural beliefs of patients and families.
• Coordinate comprehensive care services for patients and families.
