Job description:***NOTICE***: OUR COMPANY'S DRESS CODE POLICY AND PPE POLICY REQUIRE SHAVING FACIAL HAIR (SPECIFICALLY THE BEARD) AS IT POSES A SAFETY RISK IN CERTAIN WORK ENVIRONMENTS.Pay Rate: $18 -20/hourly (More depending on experience)Mon-Fri (40+ hours) Weekly1st shift (7 AM - 3:30 PM)As a CNC Machine Operator, you would be responsible for preparing and performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on assigned CNC machines.Using ALPHA CAD/CAM software with 5-axis capability, you will operate a water-jet profiling machine on Marble and Stone.Daily tasks include nesting parts, radius cuts, inside corner cuts, and many more.Make sure to communicate with managers and the production team to meet customers' needs.Job Expectations:Operate and program a stone-cutting CNC MachineInput blueprints into the CNCEnsure that the measures of the cuts coincide with the blueprints.Fabricate edges, sides, corner radius, angles, and sink cutouts using tools required in the process.Verify all pieces were checked, fabricated, and returned to the same cart number and checked in the tracking sheet as completeMeet daily productivity goals.Verify quality of finished workpieces by inspecting, comparing to templates, and measuring their dimensionsRecord product and processing data on specified forms when neededAssist in minor repair and maintenance on assigned equipmentWear all Personal Protective Equipment (safety glasses, earplugs, waterproof face mask, etc.Assuring all work areas are cleaned and organizedKnowledge Required:Basic knowledge of math (adding, subtracting, measurements, etc)Basic knowledge of maintenanceCAD/CAM ProgrammingBlueprint ReadingProven experience as a CNC OperatorExperience Desired:Skill in operating CNC Machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools.Experience in Construction, Industrial, and Manufacturing fieldsExperience operating Forklift, Overhead CraneExperience in fabricating Marble, Granite, and QuartzWater Jet / SawAbility to read and interpret Mechanical documents and drawingsEducation Desired:High School Diploma/GEDSkills Required:Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.Preferred Behaviors:Self- confidenceFlexibilityInitiativeSafety -orientedThis job requires intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting materials or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification (Form I-9) upon hire.
