Requirements
- Active WA nursing license
- Experience in ICU/PCU and MedSurg

Roles & Responsibilities
- Identify and address patient and significant others' needs for education; provide education using appropriate modalities.
- Ensure patient safety by implementing preventative measures (e.g., side rails, restraints) and follow restraint policies correctly.
- Demonstrate knowledge of safe equipment operation in the PCU/Telemetry/MedSurg areas; utilize troubleshooting techniques as needed.
- Implement infection control and isolation procedures, maintaining proper documentation.
- Document patient status, nursing interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely during shifts.
- Communicate with other departments and report critical lab values to physicians according to policy.
- Maintain and restock emergency and general supplies as necessary.
