Print Production Associate

Job Description Merestone provides full-service creative design solutions for planning, designing, fabricating, and installing immersive environments, including display concepts and designs, exhibitions, trade show exhibits, theatrical stage and scenic designs, broadcast set designs, graphic and theme development, corporate signage, full-service scenic fabrication, and audio/visual solutions. Merestone is seeking aPrintProduction Associate to join our highly skilled team of professionals and help drive theprintproduction department toward advanced standards of safety, quality, efficiency, and operational excellence. ThePrintProduction Associate reports directly to the LeadPrintProduction Manager and works closely with the creative production team to gather information and ensure projects are produced accurately and delivered on schedule. This position will assist in producing and managing a variety ofprintand installation projects involving large, medium, and small-formatprinted elements for décor, signage, and fabricated environments. The ideal candidate will have experience withprintproduction workflows, RIP software, Adobe Illustrator,printsubstrates, finishing processes, installation methods, and general manufacturing practices. Additional Responsibilities Assist with the installation of scenic, experiential marketing, corporate signage, and trade show exhibit products. Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure projects are completed on time and meet Merestone’s quality standards. Operate and maintainprintproduction equipment. Prepare files for production, manageprintqueues, and ensure quality control throughout theprinting and finishing process. Travel as needed to perform site surveys, installation and dismantle oversight, and client walkthroughs. Experience operating and maintaining Vanguard VK300D-HS UV flatbedprinters and HP 1500 rollprinters is a plus; training will be provided. Required Skills Experience with Onyx Thrive RIP software. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator. Ability to think through issues and present effective solutions. Ability to thrive under pressure and enjoy tackling challenges. Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills. Ability to interface professionally with clients, vendors, and internal teams. Ability to manage projects from concept through completion. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Positive attitude and strong team-oriented mindset. Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and late nights during peak production periods and busy seasons. Must be flexible with scheduling and willing to work overtime as required to meet production deadlines. Preferred Skills Knowledge of Onyx RIP software and color management workflows. Experience operating cold laminators and otherprintfinishing equipment. Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator. Experience operating Vanguard VK300D-HS UV flatbedprinters. Familiarity with UVprinting workflows,printhead maintenance, color management, andprinter calibration. Experience with large-formatprinting, mounting, laminating, trimming, and finishing processes. Familiarity withprintsubstrates, vinyl applications, and installation techniques. Experience in scenic fabrication, trade show exhibits, experiential marketing environments, or custom signage production. Basic knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication processes. Schedule & Travel Requirements Must be available to travel when required for site surveys, installations, dismantles, and client walkthroughs. Ability to work extended hours during installations, trade shows, and special events as needed. Willingness to support production schedules during peak workload periods and tight project deadlines.
