Non-Invasive Cardiologist

Southwest Medical, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Cardiologist to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. As a member of the Optum Care Delivery team, you will provide comprehensive, non‑invasive cardiology care in an outpatient setting, focusing on preventive health and the management of stable chronic conditions. Primary Responsibilities Provide cardiovascular medical management in an outpatient clinic setting for adults, including general and preventive care, conducting physical examinations, treating and managing cardiovascular disease, ordering diagnostic testing and labs, and prescribing medication. Provide comprehensive cardiology health assessments to treat and manage patient care. Follow comprehensive plans that include intervention and treatment to attain expected outcomes. Identify expected outcomes derived from the assessment data and diagnoses and individualize expected outcomes with the patient specific populations and with the health care team. Job Highlights Very desirable Monday through Friday schedule with no hospital call required. Attractive base salary, sign‑on bonus, and quarterly bonus plan. Required Qualifications MD or DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology. Active, unrestricted state license in NV or ability to obtain prior to employment. Preferred Qualification 2+ years of experience. Salary range: $367,500 to $700,000 annually based on full‑time employment.
