Production Manager (Newbury Park)

Full-Time Position

A growing manufacturing company is seeking an experienced  Production Manager to oversee production and assembly operations while ensuring products meet quality standards, production goals, and customer expectations. This position is responsible for leading and supervising a team of approximately 25–30 production employees , fostering a productive work environment, and ensuring efficient daily operations.

Position Summary

The Production Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing manufacturing operations to ensure efficient production, high-quality output, and effective use of personnel, equipment, and materials. The successful candidate will manage a team of approximately 25–30 production employees , providing leadership, coaching, scheduling, and performance oversight.

Responsibilities

• Manage, supervise, and develop a team of approximately 25–30 production employees .
• Plan, direct, and prioritize production activities to maximize efficiency while controlling costs.
• Coordinate production schedules to optimize the use of staffing, machinery, and materials.
• Develop and implement operating procedures that improve productivity, eliminate operational issues, and enhance product quality.
• Revise production schedules and priorities to meet customer requirements.
• Work closely with engineering personnel regarding work order modifications and technical drawings.
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve manufacturing issues and improve tooling, processes, and production methods.
• Monitor employee performance, provide coaching and training, and promote a safe, productive, and positive work environment.
• Prepare production reports, communicate production statistics to management, and provide production forecasts.
• Foster positive employee relations in accordance with company policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (required)
• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience required
• Previous experience supervising manufacturing or production teams.
• Ability to work effectively in a  fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership, organizational, and planning skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Technical communication skills
• Manufacturing and production management experience preferred

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday through Friday
• 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
