Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Home Health

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a home health position. The ideal candidate should have recent or current home health experience and be proficient with the Homecare Homebase charting system.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy interventions under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with rehabilitation exercises and mobility activities.
• Monitor and document patient progress accurately using the Homecare Homebase charting system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about the rehabilitation process and self-care techniques.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 6 months of home health experience required.
• Tennessee PTA license or compact required.
• COVID-19 vaccine is required, with medical/religious exemptions only.
• Flu vaccine is required, with medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed.

Schedule

This position offers a day shift, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a schedule of 5 days per week (5x8 hours). Occasionally, weekend shifts may be required.
