About the Position

We are seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 15-day assignment, in Texas. This role involves shifts from 8a-11p, where the professional will manage typical urgent care cases. Key responsibilities include performing laceration closure, incision and drainage, interpreting X-rays and EKGs, and handling workers compensation cases, with a requirement for comfort treating pediatric patients 3 months of age and older.

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide comprehensive urgent care to patients of all ages, including those 3 months of age and older.
Perform laceration closure and incision and drainage procedures.
Interpret X-rays and EKGs accurately.
Manage workers compensation cases effectively.
Demonstrate 3-6 years of experience in Family Practice, Emergency Room, or Urgent Care settings.

Additional Information

Required Board Certifications: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care.
EMR System: Practice Velocity.
Required experience includes 3-6 years in Family Practice, Emergency Room, or Urgent Care.
Must be able to close lacerations and perform incision and drainage.
Must be proficient in reading X-rays and EKGs.
Comfortable managing Workers Compensation cases.
Comfortable treating patients 3 months of age and older.
