About the Position

We are seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 36-day assignment in Texas. The schedule offers diverse shift lengths, including 7, 8, 12, and 15 hours, across all seven days of the week, with shifts typically running from 8a-11p. The successful candidate will be comfortable treating patients aged 3 months and up, performing laceration closures, incision and drainage procedures, reading X-rays and EKGs, and managing Workers Comp cases. Responsibilities and Duties

Treat patients aged 3 months and up.
Perform laceration closures.
Conduct incision and drainage (I&D) procedures.
Interpret X-rays and EKGs.
Manage Workers Compensation cases.

Additional Information

Board Certifications: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Urgent Care
EMR: Practice Velocity
Setting: Outpatient (Clinic Only)
Call Schedule: No Call
Patients Per Day: 30-60 depending on location
LOA: 36 days
Staffing Mix: Supported by techs, MAs, RTs, and other mid-levels.
