Role Description The Therapy Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in the Westchase, FL area. This position supports clinical staff by preparing treatment areas, assisting with therapy sessions, and helping patients follow provider-directed treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include greeting patients, maintaining equipment and cleanliness standards, documenting basic patient information under supervision all while instructing and monitoring treatment. The Therapy Technician also is cross trained to answers phones, responds to routine inquiries, and collaborates with the care team to ensure a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment for all patients. Qualifications Candidates should have strong understanding of human anatomy. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and patient care abilities to support a welcoming and compassionate clinical environment. Candidates should possess effective communication and phone etiquette skills to manage patient interactions, scheduling, and general inquiries. Candidates should possess reliability, attention to detail, and basic documentation skills to maintain accurate records and organized treatment areas. Relevant experience in a healthcare or wellness setting, including familiarity with HIPAA and patient privacy best practices, is beneficial. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional coursework or certification in rehabilitation, physical therapy assisting, or healthcare support is a plus.
