Intern, Accounting
Repsol Renewables North America (RRNA) is looking for an Intern, Accounting to assist in the Accounts Payable processing and other projects as defined.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data entry, coding and workflow routing for the invoices received from vendors
- Setting up new vendors in the accounting system
- Work with the Senior Accountants and/or project developers for proper coding against the Company approved budget
- Responding to vendor inquiries, researching and resolving issues related to invoices and vendor payments
- Monitor and reviews invoices for timely approvals
- Assisting the senior accountant with monthly bank account reconciliations
- Assisting with any other ad hoc requests
Requirements:
- Detail oriented
- Self-motivated
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work a part-time schedule (approximately 20 hours/week)
Education and Experience :
- Currently pursuing an accounting degree, preferably a rising Junior or Senior
