Accounting Intern

$20-$22/hr

Position Summary:

The Accounting Intern will support the Finance/Accounting team with day-to-day administrative and basic accounting tasks. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience and a foundational understanding of accounting principles in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with annual audit requests for 2 Puerto Rico locations
• Work on trial balance creation for Puerto Rico locations
• Perform basic account reconciliations under supervision
• Organize and update financial spreadsheets and reports
• Assist with month-end close activities as needed
• Collaborate with team members on ad hoc projects and assignments

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Basic understanding of accounting principles (coursework is sufficient)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
