Location: Mobile, AL, and Decatur, AL

Position Summary
Genesis Technical Staffing is seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead and execute complex engineering and industrial projects from initiation through completion. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and on budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams in fast-paced industrial and manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of project execution, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and closeout
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and strong relationship management
• Coordinate with engineering, design, procurement, and field teams to ensure alignment and execution of project goals
• Develop and manage project schedules, resources, and deliverables to meet deadlines and budget targets
• Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues proactively to avoid delays or cost overruns
• Monitor project performance and provide regular status updates to internal stakeholders and clients
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
• Review technical documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities within existing projects and client relationships

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• 5+ years of project management experience in engineering, industrial, or manufacturing environments
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven setting
• Strong understanding of project management principles, tools, and methodologies
• Experience with budgeting, cost control, and resource planning
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools)
