Public Policy Manager
This is a remote position. Our client is looking for a Public Policy Manager to join their team. Duration - End December 2026 Location - UK Remote Responsibilities: Track and assess policy issues in the MENA region related to risks of on-platform harm across all Meta Family of Apps (FoAs). Flag emerging risks and trends to the Public Policy team for proactive intervention. Triage inbound content related requests from external partners across the region. Coordinate with relevant internal teams to follow up and resolve cases. Escalate any blockages or unresolved issues to sub-regional heads or designated country Points of Contact (PoCs). Ensure proper documentation, closure and external response for each case. Support MENA Policy Stakeholders in resolving access issues to FoAs. Manage account escalations from external partners such as verification and account ownership, including triaging, follow-up, and case closure. Maintain the team calendar, including offsite dates, leave schedules, and key regional events. Liaise with the Strategy & Operations team on all budgetary matters to ensure compliance and efficiency. Manage contracts, invoicing, and budgetary quarterly reporting for the team. Requirements Degree in public policy, law, politics, international relations, economics, or a related field. 1-2 years of professional experience in policy, tech, or a similar field. Knowledge of tech policy issues like AI, privacy, and online safety. Understanding of social, cultural and political systems and policy institutions in MENA. Excellent communication and persuasive skills in English and Arabic. Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix environment. Strong organizational and project management skills. Experience in policy, operations, or content moderation within tech or social media platforms. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to work independently and handle sensitive issues with discretion. Familiarity with the MENA region and its policy landscape is a plus.
