Job Description 15+ years of experience in the Unemployment Insurance domain. Benefits areas: Claims Intake, Weekly Certifications, Out of State Functions, Monetary and Non-Monetary Determinations, Overpayments, Appeals, USDOL compliance, IRS compliance. Tax areas: Employer establishment & maintenance, Contribution and Wage Reports, Employee Leasing, Billing and Collections, Liens, Fraud and Investigations, Appeals and Cashiering. Experience in Unemployment Insurance modernization/transformation as a Business Manager or SME is strongly preferred. Proficient in Requirements Gathering, Application Capability Demonstration, Gap Analysis and Documentation, Functional Design, Customer Communication. Working knowledge of MS Office and MS Visio. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Able to anticipate change and prioritize quickly. Strong team skills; able to motivate and train team in UI business processes. Roles & Responsibilities Serve as subject matter expert on Unemployment Insurance Tax and Benefits. Lead the UI business analysts’ team, providing guidance and direction as required. Build requirement specifications to ensure seamless deployment of UI projects. Develop knowledge of other information systems and communicate their capabilities to customers. Coordinate with business teams to build new functionality and set reasonable expectations with customers. Provide UI system demonstrations to clients and prospects. Lead discussions assessing the impact of law changes related to UI. Lead all UI business process discussions with the State team. Coordinate with team leads (Requirements, Development, Data Migration, Testing, Technical Team) and Client Business Managers or SMEs. Salary Range $130,000–$150,000 per year.
