Obstetrician Gynecologist Hospitalist - Lower Manhattan Hospital

The Obstetrics & Gynecology Department is on the lookout for a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible OBGYN Hospitalist to join our team at Lower Manhattan Hospital. This role will be appointed at the rank of Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Reporting to the Site Chief and Director of Labor and Delivery, the Hospitalist will be responsible for the following:

• Deliver in-house obstetrical physician coverage and oversee clinical care for patients on the labor floor.

• Manage and supervise care for antepartum and postpartum inpatients.

• Oversee gynecologic consultations, including those that may require surgical intervention.

• Act as the Attending for Physician Assistants.

• Engage in continuing medical education and contribute to departmental quality initiatives.

The compensation package is competitive both nationally and locally, with a salary that reflects qualifications and experience, along with excellent benefits, relocation support, and opportunities for professional growth.

Base Salary Range: $275,000

Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as internal equity, specialty, training, and community needs.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates should possess a medical degree, have successfully completed a four-year ACGME-accredited residency in obstetrics and gynecology, and be board eligible or board certified in the field. Candidates must also hold or be eligible to obtain a valid New York State Medical License and demonstrate a commitment to excellence and education.
