Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for night shift coverage from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. This position requires a highly skilled nurse who can provide acute care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The role is located more than 50 miles from the candidate's permanent address.

Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency care to patients in the ER, assessing and prioritizing their needs.
• Administer treatments, medications, and interventions as prescribed.
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in compliance with hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient management.
• Monitor patient condition and respond swiftly to emergencies.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid, current RN license in the state of New Hampshire.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent ER experience in a hospital setting.
• Demonstrate proficiency in emergency nursing skills and procedures.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.
