Southern New Hampshire Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens
Overnight Emergency Medicine • Community Hospital Practice • Long-Term Coverage
- Location: Peterborough, New Hampshire
- Coverage: Long-Term Locum Tenens
- Coverage Need: Approximately 6–9 overnight shifts per month
- Shift: Nights only (8:00 PM – 8:00 AM)
- Start: September 2026
- EMR: Allscripts
- Annual ED Volume: Approximately 13,400 visits
- Average Volume: 1.5 patients per hour
- Hospital Type: Critical Access Community Hospital
- Licensed Hospital Beds: 25
- Emergency Department Beds: 10
- Coverage Model: Physician + APP
- APP Supervision Required
- Trauma Designation: None
- Broad Community Emergency Medicine
Practice comprehensive emergency medicine caring for:
- Adult and pediatric emergencies
- Medical emergencies
- Minor trauma
- Orthopedic injuries
- Cardiac complaints
- Respiratory illness
- Behavioral health presentations
- Community-based emergency care
Accepted Board Certifications
- ABEM
- AOBEM
- ABFM
- ABIM
- AOBIM
Required Certifications
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- Active New Hampshire Medical License required prior to presentation
- Emergency Medicine experience
- Comfortable supervising APPs
- Clean credentialing file preferred
