Location: Bronx, NY
Rate: Starting at $70/Hour

We are looking for a passionate professional to help our young learners develop essential communication skills in a fun and supportive environment. 
 
Responsibilities: 

• Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders in children.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs.
• Provide therapy sessions to improve communication skills, including speech clarity and language comprehension.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support children's development.
• Monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.
• Educate families on techniques to enhance communication at home.
• Stay updated on best practices and advancements in speech-language pathology.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to a positive team environment.

Requirements:  

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current New York state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
• Experience working with children, particularly in early childhood settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate demeanor with a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
• Proficient in using assessment tools and therapy materials relevant to speech-language pathology.
