Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN - Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in San Antonio, TX. This role focuses on providing comprehensive nursing care in a labor and delivery setting, requiring independence and awareness across clinical situations.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments following appropriate protocols
• Monitor patients for side-effects and effectiveness of prescribed treatments
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
• Current certification in AWHONN Intermediate FHM or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM)
• Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)
• RN License in the state of TX or compact
