Training and Development Specialist

JRAD Position Supporting DHS Science and Technology (S&T) JRAD is seeking candidates for a contingent or future position supporting the Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology (S&T). This position is in Washington DC or possibly hybrid. Roles and Responsibilities Reviews, updates, and enhances formal Test & Evaluation (T&E) curriculum, including revising existing course materials and developing new instructional content aligned to program needs. Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in adult learning, designing and delivering engaging instructor-led and web-based training solutions. Applies adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to create interactive, learner-centered training experiences. Delivers professional classroom and virtual instruction in support of T&E courses, ensuring high-quality facilitation and learner engagement. Supports training delivery for programs aligned with the Department of Homeland Security Acquisition Institute (HSAI), both onsite and in virtual environments. Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure training content remains current, relevant, and aligned with mission and acquisition objectives.
