If you thrive in a technical environment, love mentoring others, and enjoy solving complex engineering challenges, this role puts you at the center of product quality, testing excellence, and continuous improvement.You'll lead a talented team, shape testing methodologies, and influence the performance of products used across industries worldwide.Days: Monday to FridayBenefits for Full Time Employees:Salary Range: $78,000-$86,000 annually dependant on experienceMedical, Dental and Vison insurance401(k) plan with Employer MatchPaid VacationPaid Sick TimePaid HolidaysTuition Reimbursement ProgramEmployee Assistance ProgramResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Do:You'll own the performance, development, and daily operation of the Electrical Lab, including:Lead, mentor, and motivate a skilled electrical testing teamEnsure team members are fully trained on equipment, procedures, and safetyDevelop and refine test methods, specifications, and equipmentOversee electrical testing to ensure compliance with functional specs and customer requirementsAnalyze test data and prepare reports for Engineering, Quality, R&D, and ProductionEvaluate new materials and purchased components, providing technical feedbackSupport automated data acquisition systems for electrical and dimensional testingTroubleshoot problem parts and recommend product dispositionConduct annual performance reviews and participate in hiringCollaborate cross-functionally with Production, Sales, Marketing, and R&DMaintain compliance with OSHA, Quality, and Environmental standardsQualificationsWhat You Bring:We're looking for a leader who combines technical depth with strong communication and coaching skills.Preferred Education & Experience:Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering1–2 years of hands-on engineering or lab experienceRequired Skills:Demonstrated leadership and team developmentStrong technical aptitude and problem-solving abilityExperience with electrical and mechanical test equipment (LCR meters, Q-meters, impedance analyzers, oscilloscopes, calipers, micrometers, etc.)Proficiency with Windows, Excel, Word, and CMS/EMS systemsAbility to interpret specifications and engineering drawingsSPC, DOE, and capability analysis experienceDependable, accurate, and self-driven with strong organizational skillsCompany ProfileJoin a collaborative engineering environment where your expertise directly impacts product quality, innovation, and customer success.Fair-Rite Products Corp. is a family-owned business that was formed in 1952 in Wallkill, New York USA.
