This is an exciting opportunity to build an academic career within a collaborative environment that values clinical excellence, quality and patient safety, teaching, and leadership. *Minimum Requirements:* * Board eligible or board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology * Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical licensure *Full Description* The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville is recruiting full-time and part-time physicians for the Division of Ob/Gyn Hospital Medicine. We seek experienced and highly motivated physicians who are committed to practicing evidence-based medicine, providing compassionate inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, and educating the next generation of physicians. The ideal candidate is collaborative, forward-thinking, and dedicated to advancing patient care, quality improvement, medical education, and research. *Scope of Practice* * Provide comprehensive, patient-centered inpatient obstetric care on Labor & Delivery across the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum continuum, supported by an experienced team of Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) and Advanced Practice (APRNs). * Manage high-risk and socio-medically complex obstetric patients within a multidisciplinary care model, partnering closely with Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Anesthesiology, Neonatology, and other subspecialty teams to optimize maternal and neonatal outcomes. * Perform gynecologic consultations in Emergency Department and inpatient services, including medical management and timely operative treatment of emergent gynecologic conditions. * Perform a broad range of obstetric and gynecologic procedures, including spontaneous and operative vaginal deliveries, cesarean deliveries, external cephalic versions, laparoscopy, laparotomy, hysteroscopy, and dilation and curettage (D&C). * Support a 24/7 teaching environment, supervising and educating residents and medical students. *About UF Health & The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology* The University of Florida College of Medicine offers an exceptional academic environment where faculty thrive as clinicians, educators, scholars, and leaders. Our care comprises of * Nearly 60,000 patient visits and over 3,000 deliveries annually. * Multidisciplinary programs in maternal-fetal medicine, gynecologic oncology, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, urogynecology, and reproductive endocrinology. * Active involvement in clinical innovation, resident education, and NIH- and foundation-supported research. *Expected Salary:* Negotiable; commensurate with education, experience, and the number of inpatient shifts a month *Minimum Requirements:* * MD or DO, or equivalent degree required. * Must be board certified or on track to be certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). * Must be eligible for unrestricted Florida medical licensure. *Preferred Qualifications:* * Demonstrated excellence in patient care, teaching, and scholarly activity. * Experience in collaborative, multidisciplinary, patient-centered care. *Special Instructions to Applicants:* Applicants must apply online.
