TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for an anesthesiologist to join a thriving practice in the suburbs of St. Louis in Belleville, Illinois. We are the sole provider of anesthesia services at Memorial Belleville and Shiloh Hospitals. Memorial Hospital is a designated Magnate hospital affiliated with the BJC Health System.

Interested candidates should be able to provide all types of anesthesia for patients of all ages (we do not perform high-risk pediatric anesthesia). The use of ultrasound for peripheral nerve block and line placement and TEE for cardiac cases will be considered a plus.

Competitive compensation with a base salary range of $600,000 to $600,000 annually with the opportunity to earn incentives. Full-time clinicians are eligible for an excellent comprehensive benefits package to include: PTO, professional liability insurance with tail coverage.

An award-winning facility, Memorial Hospital Belleville is a 222-bed facility. In addition to being licensed by the State of Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), Memorial Hospital Belleville is well-recognized for its excellence in care. The facility has been named a Regional Hospital Coordinating Center (RHCC) by the IDPH, is Magnet recognized by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and an IDPH designated Stroke-Ready Hospital. Memorial Hospital Belleville is also an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI by the Society for Chest Pain Centers. There are more than 400 medical staff members representing 42 specialties.
