Job Summary:

Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) needed to support high-quality blood bank and laboratory testing services. This role requires CA CLS licensure and valid CDPH lab field services to ensure compliant specimen handling and accurate results.

Responsibilities:

• Perform blood bank testing and related laboratory procedures in accordance with established standards and protocols.
  
• Process, accession, and verify specimens while maintaining proper labeling, storage, and chain-of-custody practices.
  
• Conduct quality control and troubleshoot test-related issues to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  
• Prepare documentation, maintain records, and support compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
  
• Communicate critical results promptly and collaborate with laboratory team members to resolve discrepancies.
  Qualifications:
  
• Hold a current California CLS license (CA CLS lic required).
  
• Possess valid CDPH lab field services to perform assigned lab duties.
  
• Have CA blood bank experience and demonstrate competency in blood bank workflows.
  
• Have worked as a CLS for more than one year.
  
• Prefer prior travel experience and strong adaptability to new laboratory environments.
