Should be a role model in hourly rounding and handoff and available to coach and validate other non-licensed personnel in these expected behaviors. Will function as an informal leader and assist unit leadership in holding non-licensed personal accountable for core values. Will assist unit leadership with non-licensed personal scheduling.Will be an advocate and help drive organizational initiatives. Will be active members of the Tech Engagement Committee and attend greater than 50% of the meetings.OverviewKelemen North and South 9 is a two-sided, seventy-six bed Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit. Our staff care for a variety of patient populations, including cardiac, trauma, gastrointestinal, and psych. To support our staff are Clinical Nurse Managers (CNMs) which help with patient care, through put, and assignments. Nurses who are staffed on Kelemen 9 are required to have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications, which will allow competent and safe care for our complex patient populations.Experience RequiredHas worked at Cooper University Hospital for at least one year, with experience on the unit strongly preferred.
