Family Nurse Practitioner - Flexible Rural Primary Care

Job Summary and Responsibilities Under the supervision of the attending physician, renders FNP services under the California guidelines. Supports the educational needs of Mercy Community Clinic as needed. Position Summary As a Nurse Practitioner the incumbent delivers services in a team-based, patient-centered primary care clinic serving insured and uninsured children and adults with a special emphasis on care for persons who experience barriers to accessing care due to income, language, cultural and social barriers. The incumbent must be willing to work a flexible schedule when circumstances necessitate and participate in an on-call rotation with other clinic providers. The incumbent will report to the Director, Rural Clinics. Experience Minimum one year of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner in an outpatient clinic setting Job Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and FNP Licensure RN, NP, BLS, and DEA certifications Active licensure as a registered nurse in California or possession of a temporary California RN license (TL) and licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in good standing from the California State Board of Nursing National Nurse Practitioner Certification in good standing from either the AANP (American Academy of Nurse Practitioners) or ANCC (American Nurse Credentialing Center) Where You'll Work Founded in 1938, Dignity Health – Mercy Medical Center Mt.
