About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 12 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active nursing license Certifications: CPR, must attend CPI training within 30 days Must-Have Skills/Experience: Recognize mental health as an illness. Description: The role involves working with a patient population aged 18 to 99. Nurses will be expected to provide compassionate care to individuals dealing with various mental health issues. Common diagnoses include detox, depression, and psychosis. Candidates should be unbothered by patient comments and be proactive during downtime. Previous experience in psychiatric or detox settings is preferred. The unit consists of 24 beds with a patient ratio of 1:4. Staff members are required to float to all units as needed, with no specific assignments to one unit. Dress code includes navy blue scrubs, and unacceptable attire includes hoodies. Candidates will be part of a team committed to improving mental health awareness and treatment.
