Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 12 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required RN License Certifications: CPR, CPI training within 30 days Must-Have Skills/Experience: Recognize mental health as an illness. Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Behavioral Health division. The role involves working with a patient population aged 18-99. You will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to those experiencing mental health challenges. Common diagnoses include detox, depression, and psychosis. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:4. All staff may be required to float to different units as needed. A proactive attitude is essential, especially during downtime. Candidates should be unbothered by patients' comments and demonstrate a commitment to mental health. Previous experience in psychiatric or detox settings is preferred. Dress code requires wearing navy blue scrubs. No hoodies or unacceptable attire are permitted.
