Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - Virgina

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and autonomous Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to provide high-quality mental health care in skilled nursing facilities across the Greater Richmond area. This role offers a lucrative pay scale , a supportive clinical environment, and no visit cancellations , ensuring consistent patient engagement and provider satisfaction. This is a 1099 (contractor) role requiring ANCC Board certification.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments
Provide psychotherapy , consultations , and medication management
Collaborate with facility medical providers to ensure integrated care
Work independently while maintaining clinical collaboration with a group psychiatrist
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory standards
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and leadership development

Growth & Development

Leadership opportunities within a growing behavioral health team
Residency track available for new PMHNPs seeking mentorship and structured onboarding
Ongoing professional development and CME support

Job Types: Full-time (M-F; 8 hrs/day)

Work Location: In person

Monday - Friday
8 hours per day
Sat shifts are optional/at discretion of manager
