The Operations Support Specialist plays an integral role in supporting the firm's case processes by managing client correspondence, preparing and tracking legal documents, and ensuring accurate updates to case records. This position serves as an important entry point into the organization, offering meaningful exposure to legal operations and opportunities for professional growth.
Responsibilities

• Request and prepare legal documents using the firm's case management system.
• Reference court websites to obtain status updates on pending cases and accurately record the information.
• E-file complaints, motions, and other legal documents with the appropriate courts.
• Update the case management system with judgment information and other relevant case details.
• Copy, scan, and organize documents to maintain complete and accurate case files.
• Manage client correspondence in a professional and timely manner.
• Handle a high volume of work efficiently while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Maintain strict discretion when working with highly confidential matters and documents.
• Multi-task effectively and respond to changing priorities as requested.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth case progression and resolution.

Work Environment
This role is fully onsite and follows an 8-hour shift within the operating hours of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Start times can be flexible (for example, 8:00 or 9:00 a.m.), provided the selected schedule is consistent and adhered to. The environment is a professional office setting that relies on computers, Microsoft Office, and a case management system for daily tasks. The work involves sustained periods of typing, data entry, document preparation, and interaction with confidential information. The culture emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and growth opportunities, making this position a strong entry point for individuals looking to build a long-term career in a structured and supportive office environment. Professional attire appropriate for an office setting is expected.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Akron, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
