Job Title: RN Interventional Radiology Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Experience in outpatient and inpatient services Description: This is a professional position responsible for the coordination of outpatient and inpatient services. The position is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating services provided for patients. This role is dynamic and requires the RN to function as a procedure nurse as well as to support the clinical needs of all patients utilizing imaging services. The RN is responsible for linking the facility and physicians by providing services for inpatients and outpatients. Services include but are not limited to pre-admission nursing assessments, testing, care, and coordinating these inpatient and outpatient procedures with physicians and other groups as appropriate. This position also includes post-procedure care and assessment of both inpatient and outpatient procedure patients. The role promotes quality patient care by establishing and monitoring standards of care. The RN will have specific nursing needs and various inpatient and outpatient procedural responsibilities.
